I started PCH Electrical Contractors in 2002, fresh off years of learning the trade and eager to build something of my own. Those early years were all about new construction, working with production builders and on custom and Storybook homes, wiring houses from the ground up.


That experience taught me something valuable: precision matters. When you're wiring dozens of homes for demanding builders, there's no room for shortcuts. Every connection has to be perfect. Every inspection has to pass. Every homeowner has to be satisfied.


For years, that was my world: new construction, commercial projects, and working on multi-trade jobs. I built a reputation for showing up on time, doing clean work, and standing behind every job.

The Transition to Residential Service

Then things changed. The builders I worked with started retiring. The industry shifted. And I realized something: homeowners needed the same production-builder quality, but most were getting rotating crews, inconsistent work, and electricians who treated residential jobs like an afterthought.


So I pivoted. I took everything I learned from wiring hundreds of new homes and brought that expertise to residential service work.
